A plan to get you out of pain and back to chewing

You told us your goal simply: stop the pain and be able to eat normally again. Everything below is built around that — what's causing the trouble, how we fix it, and a few honest ways to pay for it so cost doesn't stand in the way.

Why this matters

Your options

Three ways to approach this. There's no wrong choice — start where it makes sense for you.

Start here

Essential now

Just what's causing trouble — takes out the broken tooth, replaces it so you can chew, and clears the infection. Uses this year's remaining insurance.

Implant + crown (#30)$6,150
Deep cleaning (4 quadrants)$1,150
Treatment subtotal$7,300
Est. insurance (this year)– $1,400
Your portion$5,900
$286 – $492 / mo estimate, subject to approval

Phased

The same complete plan, split across two plan years so your insurance benefit resets and helps you twice — the most insurance-friendly path.

This year (urgent work)$7,300
Next year (the two crowns)$3,700
Treatment subtotal$11,000
Est. insurance (both years)– $2,900
Your portion$8,100
spreads across 2 years see the table below for the year-by-year breakdown

Comprehensive

Everything handled together this year — the broken tooth, the infection, and both cracked molars protected. The fewest visits, done all at once.

All recommended treatment$11,000
Treatment subtotal$11,000
Est. insurance (this year)– $1,400
Your portion$9,600
$465 – $800 / mo estimate, subject to approval

How phasing works with your insurance

Your PPO resets its yearly maximum each plan year. By doing the urgent work now and the two cracked-molar crowns after your benefit resets, your insurance helps in both years instead of just one.

WhenTreatmentFeeEst. insuranceYour portion
This plan yearImplant (#30)$4,300
Crown on implant (#30)$1,850
Deep cleaning (4 quadrants)$1,150
This year subtotal$7,300– $1,400$5,900
Next plan yearCrown — cracked molar (#3)$1,850
Crown — cracked molar (#14)$1,850
Next year subtotal$3,700– $1,500$2,200
Total, phased over two years$11,000– $2,900$8,100
Doing everything in one year, your insurance would cap out at about $1,400. Phased across two plan years, it contributes about $2,900 — roughly $1,500 more of help, just by timing. The urgent work still happens right away.

Paying for it — in plain English

First, the real numbers: the fees above, minus what your insurance is estimated to cover, leaves your portion. Here are a few ways to handle that portion — you apply directly, and approval and final terms are theirs to set.

In-house 12-month plan

Pay Summit Family Dental directly in 12 equal monthly payments, with no interest and no third party. On the Essential-now portion, that's about $492/month for a year.

Cherry

An outside option you can apply for to spread the cost into monthly payments. A longer 24-month plan brings the Essential-now portion to about $286/month.

Worth knowing: Cherry's 12-month plan is interest-free only if the full balance is paid within the 12-month window. If a balance is left when the window ends, interest is charged back to day one. The 24-month plan above runs at about 14.99% APR — roughly $965 in interest over the two years. We're glad to help you plan the payments so you finish on time.

Most of this is also FSA/HSA-eligible — if you have pre-tax dollars set aside for health spending, they can go toward this treatment. Ask us and we'll help you make the most of them.

What waiting costs

Waiting won't save money here, and it usually adds to it. The broken tooth and the gum infection are active now — left alone, the infection keeps loosening teeth, and the gap from #30 lets the bite shift, which can turn a clean implant into a more involved repair. The two cracked molars are the one part that can reasonably wait — which is exactly why they're in next year's phase. The pain and the infection are what we want to handle right away.

Ready when you are

These numbers are estimates to help you decide — not a bill. When you're ready, or if you'd like us to walk through which option fits your budget, just call. We'll take care of the rest.

Each monthly figure is an estimate, subject to approval and the lender's final terms. Insurance amounts are estimates based on the benefits described and are not a guarantee of payment; if your plan pays more than estimated, the difference is credited back to you, never billed as a surprise. Out-of-network estimates are figured conservatively. This plan is reviewed by your dentist before treatment and is not financial, insurance, or legal advice.
